Playing Anna in Frozen at the Woodland Opera House
After years as a performer at the Woodland Opera House, I finally got to carry a show! Seen here, as Anna in FROZEN Jr., I could set the tone for the cast, and I chose kindness. Younger kids look for teen mentors, so Elsa and I encouraged cast members, gave each other confidence and collaborated. We especially took the young ones under our wings. No one wanted the show to end.
In auditioning – I learned EVERY SONG from the entire show. I was determined to get the role!
If you want something – put the work in (lots of it!), imagine it’s already happened and it will be yours!
